Job Title: Product Security EngineerLocation: RemoteDuration: 3 monthsDay rate: Up to £650 p/dIR35 Status: Outside OverviewWe’re looking for a hands-on Security Engineer to join one health tech client. You will lead vulnerability management, incident response and scalable security initiatives while embedding best practices and developing custom tooling. Key responsibilities Define product security requirements , perform assessments , threat modelling and pen testing to strengthen the SSDLCTriage , assess and drive remediation of security issuesConfigure WAF rules and deploy protective controls to secure the environmentBuild and maintain in-house tools.Ability to adapt and collaborate within a small high performing team Requirements Hands on experience with AWS and CloudflareInfrastructure as Code , proficiency with Terraform or similar IaC tools.Strong understanding of common vulnerability classes and the OWASP Top 10.Comfort reading Python or Scala, plus experience coding in Go or another language.Familiarity with iOS or Android security.
