We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Materials Chaser to join our team. This newly created role is responsible for managing all aspects of aircraft parts and tooling pre-provisioning, inventory planning, and optimisation to support aircraft maintenance activities on site.RequirementsLiaise with Purchasing teams to resolve material shortages and ensure timely supply of parts.Demonstrate strong commercial and financial awareness in all decision-making.Act as an integral part of an innovative and collaborative team.Manage component repair and overhaul activities, including engagement with the customer.Oversee the material elements of maintenance checks, including participation in daily customer meetings.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including but not limited to:Part 145Use of the company’s Safety Management System (SMS)Support business management activities, including cross-department collaboration, regular communication, and promoting positive working relationships.Support with on-time delivery of materials to support aircraft maintenanceYou will be:Focused on achieving results, meeting targets and adapting plans as neededAble to understand customer needs and strives to exceed expectations while prioritising safety.Open to new ideas, challenges existing processes, and works effectively in a dynamic environment.Communicates clearly, builds constructive relationships, and supports colleagues to achieve team goals.RequirementsExperience in materials, logistics, and supplier management within an MRO engineering or maintenance environment.Strong commercial and financial awareness.A natural forward thinker with excellent planning skills.Analytical and highly numerate.Self-starter with a results-driven approach.Ability to work effectively as part of an innovative and fast-paced team.BenefitsWASL offers a comprehensive benefit package to its eligible employees.
