This key role involves the delivery of excellent pastoral care to the pupils. As a Pastoral Manager, you will focus on student well-being, safeguarding, attendance, and behaviour management. This is an exciting opportunity to engage positively with pupils, parents and staff to embed school values and attitudes and promote high standards of behaviour and achievement. You will be required to process data through established systems (e.g. CPOMS) and procedures and input information into schools MIS system (Arbor) accurately and in a timely manner. You will provide reports for all stakeholders including the Senior Leadership team, teachers and heads of department. Experience and skills required: Experience of working with secondary age students and their families in a mainstream school/academyExperience working with people in multi-disciplinary teamsGCSE English & Maths grade C or above (or equivalent qualification)Strong communication, and interpersonal skillsLevel 3 Safeguarding DSL Training is desirable This is a vibrant and oversubscribed school and it's part of a respected medium size Multi-Academy Trust.
