Your influence can help students rebuild confidence, improve engagement, and achieve their potential. Your Role as an SEMH TA Includes: Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEMH needs. Assisting teachers in delivering adapted, meaningful learning activities. Promoting emotional regulation, resilience, and positive behaviour. Helping create a safe, stable, and supportive classroom environment. Building strong, trusting relationships that enable pupils to engage and grow. This SEMH TA role is full-time, Monday–Friday, offering consistency for both you and the students you support. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience working with SEMH, SEN, or challenging behaviour (desirable). A patient, empathetic, and solution-focused approach. Strong communication skills and emotional resilience. Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
