Quantity Surveyor Groundworks Permanent Role £40,000 - £50,000 DOE Monday - Friday 07:30 - 17:00 Sunderland / Washington / Newcastle / Durham Immediate Starts Available My client is a North East Based groundworks specialist, they work primarily with new home builders across the region. Due to continued growth and major project wins, this client now requires an additional Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis. If you have 3 years experience with groundworks and setting out please read on Benefits Permanent Position Great opportunity to learn and develop Interesting work Monday - Friday Stable established company The Role of Quantity Surveyor Assist in the preparation of tenders, take-offs, and estimates for new projects. Prepare and submit applications for payment and help manage project valuations. Assess and agree variations and changes during construction. Procure and order materials in line with tight site schedules. Set and monitor targets for site teams, supporting efficient project delivery. Work collaboratively with Contract Managers, engineers, and clients to solve problems and keep projects on track. Support with cost forecasting, budgeting, and reporting as required. The Right Quantity Surveyor Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline. 3+ years' experience in a groundworks Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (especially NEC3/NEC4). Experience with cost control systems and commercial reporting tools. Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying software. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Interested?
