Location: CorrighamHours & Days: 08:30 – 17:30, Monday–FridayFully office-based Hexagon Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client, a highly respected and fast-growing haulage company based in Thurrock, for a proactive and detail-focused Bookings Administrator.This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy transport office where you’ll play a key role in keeping bookings, customer communication, and admin processes running smoothly.Requirements The RoleAs a Bookings Administrator, you will be the backbone of the daily operation, ensuring all customer requests, bookings, and documentation are handled accurately and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:· Monitoring the departmental inbox and ensuring all emails are responded to and actioned promptly· Handling day-to-day bookings and general administration tasks· Communicating professionally with customers and internal departments· Checking rate confirmations, rating jobs, and issuing invoices· Answering calls, inputting data, arranging meetings, and supporting other admin functions· Liaising with internal support teams to resolve IT or system issues What We’re Looking For· Strong IT skills with confident use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)· Previous experience in an office-based administration role· Excellent written and verbal communication skills· A positive, proactive approach and a willingness to learn new systems Desirable (But Not Essential)· Experience using TOPS software· Background in haulage, transport, or shipping Additional RequirementA driving licence and access to your own transport, due to the office location Why Apply?You’ll be joining a reputable haulage company with a strong industry presence, supportive team environment, and clear opportunities to grow and develop your administration skills within the logistics sector.
