Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) Location: Rotherham, S65 Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-timeAre you a caring and patient SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs?GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing and inclusive school in Rotherham. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting pupils with additional learning needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and other learning difficulties. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs.Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.Encourage students’ independence, confidence, and social development.Support the emotional and academic well-being of pupils throughout the school day.Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to ensure all pupils achieve their potential. Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant: Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN in a school or similar setting.A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to working with pupils.Strong communication and teamwork skills.An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
