SEN Tutor
Salary: £25 - £35 Per hourJob Duties:
Provide tailored educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilitiesDeliver engaging and interactive lessons to support students' academic progressAssess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordinglyCollaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for studentsMaintain accurate records of student progress and achievements
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Experience working with students with SENKnowledge of SEN regulations and best practisesStrong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of various learning disabilities and strategies to support studentsAbility to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needsStrong organisational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional training in SEN teaching or related fieldExperience using assistive technology in educational settings
Working Conditions:
Part-Time position, expected to work flexible hoursWork closely with students, parents, and school staffPossibility of remote or in-person tutoring sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
