Activities Coordinator Position: Activities Coordinator Location: Birmingham Nursing Home Salary: £12.21 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and creative Activities Coordinator to join our Birmingham Nursing Home team. This role focuses on supporting residents with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions by planning and delivering engaging activities that promote wellbeing, independence, and social inclusion. Key Responsibilities Plan, organise, and deliver a variety of meaningful activities tailored to residents' needs and interests. Encourage participation in social, recreational, and community activities. Work closely with care staff to ensure activities support individual care plans. Promote independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing through structured programmes. Maintain accurate records and contribute to residents' progress reports. Requirements Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health conditions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Creativity and enthusiasm for developing engaging activities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. NVQ qualification in Health and Social Care (desirable).
