Senior DevOps Engineer Join a global FinTech firm on an ambitious multi-year engineering modernisation journey. They are evolving how products are built and shipped, faster, safer, automated, and at scale, and now looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help lead the transformation. In this role, you'll drive the uplift of the DevOps capabilities across development, testing, and production delivery. You'll combine hands-on engineering with strategic influence, guiding teams worldwide to adopt modern tools, automation, and best-in-class DevOps/SRE practices. Your work will directly improve developer productivity, speed to market, and platform reliability. Day-to-day Lead the strategy and implementation of our DevOps modernisation program. Build and enhance internal tooling to automate development, testing, and deployment. Create fully automated CI/CD pipelines to eliminate manual release overhead. Improve platform stability through better observability, monitoring, and process enhancements. Support engineering teams in adopting consistent tooling and cloud-ready delivery practices (cloud & on-prem). Partner with vendors to accelerate adoption of automation and DevOps best practices. Architect solutions using containers, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies. Drive automation across environment management, logging, and monitoring. Essential Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent). 7-10 years' DevOps experience in major Financial or Technology environments. Proven success driving DevOps/SRE transformation and measurable productivity improvements. Strong expertise with AWS and modern DevOps/SRE principles. Hands-on experience automating tests within CI/CD (unit, integration, smoke). Nice to Have Background working in Agile/Lean teams (e.g., SAFe). Knowledge of automation, CI/CD, and observability tooling (GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, etc.). Experience across Linux/Windows environments. Proficiency in scripting (Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell, Groovy). Experience with programming languages (Java, C#, JavaScript, Ruby, C++).
