Job Title: MFL Teacher (French & German) Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire Salary: £120 - £200 per day (dependent on experience) Contract Type: Full-Time / Long-Term Start Date: January 2025 (or sooner if available) MFL Teacher - French & German (Kettering) Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, and committed MFL Teacher with the ability to teach French and German across Key Stages 3 and 4. This long-term position is based at a high-achieving secondary school in the Kettering area, offering a supportive environment and a strong culture of academic excellence. We are looking for someone who can deliver engaging, high-quality language lessons and inspire students to develop strong linguistic and cultural understanding. Key Responsibilities: Teach French and German across KS3 & KS4 Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the national curriculum Assess, track, and support student progress Foster enthusiasm for language learning and cultural awareness Contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking MFL department Maintain excellent classroom management and a positive learning environment The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Ability to teach both French and German to secondary students Strong subject knowledge and passion for Modern Foreign Languages Excellent communication and behaviour management skills A commitment to supporting students' academic development An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) Why Work with Tradewind Recruitment?
