Cover Supervisor – Modern Foreign Languages Specialist Location: Coventry Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Temporary / Permanent (Flexible depending on school needs) Salary: £110 - £135.50 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)Are you passionate about languages and education? Do you have the confidence to lead a classroom and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4?Link3 Recruitment are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor with a Modern Foreign Languages specialism to work across a network of welcoming and high-achieving secondary schools in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, language graduates, or experienced educators looking to make an impact.About the Role: Supervise and deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of Class Teachers, primarily in French, Spanish or GermanManage classroom behaviour and maintain a productive learning environmentSupport students with language tasks and promote a love for language learningProvide feedback to teaching staff regarding student progress and engagementWork flexibly across departments when MFL cover is not required We Are Looking For: A strong background or qualification in French, Spanish or German (essential)Prior experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting (preferred)Excellent classroom management and communication skillsA positive, proactive attitude and the ability to adapt quicklyAn enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one Requirements: All applicants must hold a valid Right to Work in the UK, which will be verified as part of our safeguarding and compliance process.DBS: All applicants must undergo an Enhanced DBS Check (Child Workforce) prior to starting work, unless already registered on the Update Service. The cost of a new DBS will be covered by the applicant.For roles below Cover Supervisor level, a minimum of GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) is required, and evidence of these qualifications must be provided.
