Our client, a respected and fast-growing wealth management firm, is looking for an ambitious Junior Paraplanner with a passion for technical development and a commitment to progressing towards the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.This is an exceptional opportunity to build your technical foundation while receiving hands-on training, ongoing study support, and direct exposure to experienced Paraplanners and Financial Advisers.The RoleThis development-focused position is ideal for someone with early technical experience and at least RO1 achieved. You will be supported to build knowledge across research, analysis, suitability report writing, and the regulated advice process.Working closely with senior staff, your responsibilities will include:Technical & Research Support* Assisting with gathering and analysing client information* Using AI systems to help produce suitability report drafts* Conducting basic research across retirement, investment, and protection planningSuitability & Case Preparation* Preparing initial suitability letter drafts for adviser review* Supporting the collation of documentation and preparation of case filesImplementation & Compliance* Assisting with the implementation of recommendations and associated paperwork* Helping maintain accurate client files and supporting compliance processes* Keeping up to date with legislation, regulation, and industry changesCollaboration* Working with Advisers and guidance teams on technical case elements* Communicating updates on case progress clearly and professionallyAbout YouWe are looking for someone who brings:* RO1 qualification (minimum) - RO exams beyond this are an advantage* A genuine desire to progress towards the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning* Strong analytical and technical aptitude* Excellent attention to detail* Confident communication skills, both written and verbal* A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learnBenefits & Package* £25,000-£28,000 salary, depending on experience* Up to 15% discretionary bonus (10% production + 5% performance)* 25 days holiday + bank holidays* Workplace pension* Life assurance (4× salary)* Appraisal Reward Day* Hybrid working pattern* Full study support, funded qualifications, and dedicated development time* Mentoring from senior Paraplanners and Advisers* Clear career pathway to fully qualified ParaplannerIf you have RO1 and are eager to develop your technical skills in a supportive and ambitious environment, this is the ideal next step.
