Join Our Team as a Level 3 Vehicle Technician! Salary: £22.00 per hour (£48,048 per annum) | Permanent Role | Average 42 hrs/week | Mon–Fri, Working hours between 7.30am-4.30pm RMS Recruitment is thrilled to be partnering with a client in the automotive industry, renowned for excellence in vehicle storage, inspection, maintenance, dispatch, and transportation. We’re now looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Vehicle Technician to join our dedicated workshop team, helping us maintain exceptional service standards.What You’ll Be Doing:Working under the direction of the Workshop Manager, your main responsibilities will include: Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults to manufacturer standardsPerforming routine servicing on a variety of vehicle models, including light commercial vehiclesStripping down, checking, and replacing faulty parts and assembliesTesting, reassembling, and adjusting mechanical and electrical systemsKeeping workshop tools and equipment clean, organised, and well-maintainedEnsuring compliance with all Health & Safety regulationsParticipating in training and skill-enhancement workshopsSupporting other workshop duties as required Please note: This is a hands-on role in an outdoor automotive compound. You’ll be working in all weather conditions with PPE provided, and walking moderate distances throughout the day while moving vehicles.What We’re Looking For: L3 Qualification (or equivalent) in light vehicle maintenance and repair – essentiaLOver 22 years old, with a full UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points, no DR10s) – required for insurance purposesStrong work ethic with a proactive and flexible attitudeBasic understanding of Health & Safety practices, and willingness to comply with procedures Interested?
