Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated Youth Mentors to work as Teaching Assistants across schools in Swansea, Carmarthen and Llanelli.About the Role As a Youth Mentor, you will: Support students who may face social, emotional, or behavioural challenges Work alongside teachers to create a positive, inclusive learning environment Provide 1:1 and small-group mentoring Help students develop confidence, resilience and essential life skills Assist with classroom tasks, behaviour management and pastoral support What We’re Looking For A genuine passion for working with young people Strong communication and relationship-building skills Patience, empathy and a calm approach Experience in youth work, mentoring, education or support roles (advantageous but not essential) Reliability and willingness to travel within the local area What We Offer £89.38 per day, paid weekly Flexible full-time or part-time schedules Ongoing training, CPD opportunities and professional support A rewarding role where you can make a meaningful difference If you’re ready to inspire and empower young people across South West Wales, we’d love to hear from you.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
