About the role Job Opportunity: School Handy Person - Site SuperindendentLocation: Leeds - LS8Hours: 12:15 - 18:15 (Mon - Fri)We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and skilled Handy Person to join our flexible workforce to support a local primary school in Leeds - LS8. This role offers flexible hours and a chance to make a real difference in ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our pupils and staff. There will be elements of lone working, general cleaning responsibilities and maintenance work, so you must be handy with experience of completing maintenance jobs. This role is shared with another member of staff in the school who soley works mornings to open up, so you would be responsible for locking up the site in an evening.Key Responsibilities: Carry out routine maintenance and light repairs across the school site Assist with compliance checks and general upkeep of the premises Support with site safety and security where needed Desirable Requirements: Experience in general maintenance or handyman roles DBS check registered with the Update Service A proactive and practical approach to problem-solving This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys helping others.
