Nursery / EYFS Teaching Assistant (Level 3) Chesterfield Primary School January 2026 - July 2026 Monday - Friday | 12:30pm - 4:00pm Are you a passionate and reliable Level 3 Teaching Assistant with experience in an Early Years or Nursery setting? Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated EYFS practitioner to join a welcoming primary school in Chesterfield from January 2026 until July 2026. The Role We are looking for a nurturing and proactive TA to support children within the EYFS/Nursery provision each afternoon. You will work closely with the class teacher and wider Early Years team to create a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities Supporting children with their learning, development, and daily routines Assisting with small-group work and learning through play Encouraging speech, language, and social development Following school safeguarding and behaviour policies Providing a calm, positive, and encouraging presence Essential Requirements Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent Early Years qualification) Experience working in a Nursery or Early Years Foundation Stage setting Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply) Why Work With Tradewind Recruitment?
