We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Business Studies Teacher to join a large, successful mixed comprehensive school located in Canterbury. The selected Business Studies Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, inspiring students to develop their business acumen and commercial awareness.The school is a thriving and inclusive 11-18 academy, recently rated 'Good' by Ofsted, which noted the school's "positive and calm learning environment" and "ambitious curriculum that prepares pupils well for their future." The successful Business Studies Teacher will join a supportive and forward-thinking department that is committed to delivering outstanding business education.As a Business Studies Teacher, you will be expected to: Plan and deliver engaging and relevant Business Studies lessons to pupils across Key Stages 4 and 5.Inspire students to understand business concepts, entrepreneurship, and economic principles.Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE and A-Level/Vocational Business qualifications.Use real-world business examples and case studies to bring the subject to life.Contribute to the development of the Business Studies curriculum and departmental resources. In order to be considered for this Business Studies Teacher role, the candidate must: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a relevant specialism.Have experience teaching Business Studies at secondary school level.Have a strong knowledge of the current Business Studies curriculum and assessment requirements.Have the right to work in the UK.Meet GSL's safer recruitment background checks.
