You’ll play a key role in ensuring every child feels seen, valued, and encouraged.What you’ll be doing Supporting pupils with special educational needs in 1:1 and small-group settingsHelping implement IEPs and Behaviour Intervention PlansCreating an inclusive, nurturing environment where every child feels valuedWorking closely with teachers, therapists, and wider support staff to provide holistic careAssisting with academic tasks, communication, social skills, and emotional regulationTracking pupil progress and sharing updates with the teaching teamKeeping accurate records of achievements, challenges, and goalsEncouraging independence, resilience, and self-confidence in every child you support What we’re looking for Experience as a Teaching Assistant (SEND experience preferred but not essential)Confidence supporting children with autism spectrum conditionA calm, patient, and caring approach to varied learning needsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWillingness to obtain an enhanced DBS (or already have one)Ability to maintain a positive, supportive working environmentRight to work in the UK Please note: We are building a talent pool of exceptional SEND Teaching Assistants for schools across Redbridge.
