KS1 Teaching Assistant – January 2026 StartLocation: BradfordContract: Full-time, long-termStart Date: January 2026A friendly Bradford primary school is looking for a committed KS1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Year 1 and Year 2 from January. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, nurturing environment where early learning foundations are key.Key responsibilities: Providing 1:1 and small group support in phonics, reading and early maths Supporting pupils to meet learning objectives and build confidence Assisting the class teacher with preparation, behaviour support and classroom routines Helping to create a positive, engaging and safe learning space The ideal candidate will: Have previous KS1 or primary support experience Be confident delivering phonics (Little Wandle, Read Write Inc., or similar) Be energetic, supportive and adaptable Have strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping children succeed If you’re ready to support KS1 learners and join a school that values its staff and pupils, we encourage you to apply.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
