Care AssistantJob Title: Care AssistantJob Type: Temporary - On goingLocation: King’s Lynn and surrounding areasDays and hours of work: Varies (day and night shifts available)Start Date: ASAPSalary/ Hourly rate: £13.50- £15.00ph (depending on shift pattern)Pay Scheme: PAYEWe are recruiting for dedicated and committed Care Assistants to work in the King’s Lynn area to work for a number of different care homes that we support on a temporary ongoing basisTHE ROLETo follow instructions and care plans at individual settingsTreat Service Users with respect at all timesSupport individuals with their personal hygiene and appearanceMaintain a safe environment for staff and Service UsersEncourage the independence and motivation of the Service UserSupport the Service Users to make informed choicesFeedback any necessary information to the person in chargeComplete all necessary paperworkTaking Service Users into the community and on day trips when neededProviding companionship to service users, communicating effectively with themProtecting the confidentiality of all Service Users and ClientsTo recognise signs of abuse and immediately report through the necessary channels.REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLEUK experience as a care assistant is essentialMust be reliableMust be resilient and compassionateExcellent communication skillsTransport Desirable but not essentialOnline DBS essentialBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR ARCFree uniform.Paid annual leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)Weekly pay – with a 1 hour pay resolution guaranteePension schemeAccess to Free annual online training.Please contact our Healthcare Recruitment specialists
