Warehouse OperativeMenzies Distribution Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our night team in Scunthorpe. The purpose of this role is to provide accurate and prompt picking, packing and dispatch of the depot warehouse goods & requires you to complete various warehouse tasks, as safely, accurately and as efficiently as possible upholding and the highest standards of health and safety at all times. Also includes other duties to help maintain the efficient and successful working of the warehouse.**A Reach Truck Licence and experience is required for this role**The Details: Salary: £26,332.80 Per Annum,£12.66 Per HourShift Pattern: Monday - Friday Backshift Hours: 18:00- 02:00 40 hours per weekFull-time, permanentMonthly Pay Warehouse Operative Key Duties and Accountabilities (will include but not be limited to): Co-operate fully with the sites safety requirementsReceive deliveries of customer stock from trailers into warehouse. Check quantities, record receipt and pass on paperworkPick and pack customer orders to achieve agreed turn-round targets, dispatching orders with appropriate paperwork. Both full pallet and manual case/break picked from the racking and ground locations.Load trailers with customer goods in timely mannerPut away of customer goods from the warehouse floor into the rackingManual handling of productsSigning for and accepting responsibility for tasks that have been completedHousekeeping, both physical completion and hygiene checksStock integrity and quality checksKeep warehouse and outside forecourts clean and tidy including shelf dusting, keeping gangways clear and litter removal Key Experience and Qualifications: Good communication & team working skillsBasic numeracy and literacy skillsA professional mannerExperience operating within a warehouse environmentMHE – Reach Truck license required with PPT & LLOP licenses preferable Technical skills and behavioral competencies: Good organisational and time management skillsFlexibilityTo be proactive Benefits Time For You: Relax with 28 days of holiday inclusive of bank holidays.Give Back: Receive a paid day to volunteer for a charity of your choice.Appreciating You & Others: Celebrate special moments with Value Awards!
