Junior Accountant – London - Boutique Accountancy Firm Are you an AAT studier with bookkeeping experience looking to gain exposure to the full accountancy service line? Junior Accountant responsibilities include: Recording invoices raised and bills received Reconciling bank transactions Posting journals for prepayments, accruals, payroll and other monthly/annual adjustments Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns for bookkeeping clients Assisting with monthly payrolls for clients Assisting senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly management/statutory accounts Assisting with any other related accounting and general administration work on an ad hoc basis As a Junior Accountant, you will: Be studying for your AAT or recently qualified (ideally first time passes) Have at least a years’ experience in accountancy Demonstrate a solid understanding of double entry bookkeeping In return, as a Junior Accountant, you will receive: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Hybrid working – 2 days a week in the office Private medical Full study support If you are seeking Junior Accountant jobs in London, contact Austin Rose, the Public Practice Recruitment Specialists.
