All these areas are covered by individual development objectives and business investment, so our people grow with the business.The Role…We are looking for an experienced Account Director or Senior Account Director to join the senior team to lead, nurture and develop a portfolio of high-profile consumer PR accounts.What you’ll be doing…Lead, motivate and develop the team to ensure that they produce exceptional creative, high-quality, award-winning work for our clientsLead and grow key consumer clients with full support from a delivery team Lead, manage and support the team to maximise their personal growth and career opportunities within the agencyProvide counsel and manage multiple senior client stakeholders and their needsWorking in a highly detailed manner to ensure total clarity on strategy and planningEnsuring accounts you are leading are profitable and that budget reconciliations and post campaign reports are completedRequirementsWhat we need from you…You will have significant experience in an earned-first consumer agency environment, and able to demonstrate exceptional creativity and passion as a seasoned operator in leading, motivating and developing account teams across food, drink, and consumer lifestyle clients. Exceptional creative skills, including ideation, creative strategy, awareness of trends, formats, and cultural moments to inform direction. Lead brainstorms, planning sessions, pitches and presentations.Excellent client management skills with a proven track record of providing counsel to senior clients and influencing stakeholdersA passion for media relations with expert knowledge and confidence in media strategy and activationStrong commercial awareness, with a good understanding of working with client fee forecasts, writing accurate budgets, managing service levels and resource planning to ensure profitable and effective delivery of campaignsStrong strategic thinking, analytical skills and attention to detail, brave creativity and a drive to produce award-winning workStrategic planning and management skills to take a client brief through the planning process, integrate with other agencies above and below the line and oversee the delivery of activationsExcellent writing skills including press releases to generate news and launch campaignsExcellent project management and strong team-working skills, resilience and tenacityExperience of handling reactive crisis communication is desirable but not essentialBring your real self to work and thrive in an environment where everyone belongsStrong UK experience is essentialBenefitsBenefits:25 days annual leave plus Bank holidays (increases by 1 day each year to a maximum of 30) Company pensionWe also have a range of perks which include - Early finish on Friday (4:30pm)Hybrid working, 3 days in the office and 2 at homeOffice closedown between Christmas and New Year - this is an additional 3 days offBirthday day offChristmas party and summer awayday/partyPre-Pay Day lunch provided by SplendidWeCare – access to an online GP 24/7, mental health support service and get fit programmeCompany iPhone Claim expenses of up to £100 per year to help you achieve your personal balance objective
