An established architectural practice based in Birmingham's Jewellery quarter, with a strong reputation in the Leisure, Hospitality, Gaming, and Sports sectors is seeking a Senior Architect to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a pivotal role in the delivery of high-profile projects across the UK and internationally. About the Role As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for leading projects from concept through to completion. You'll play a key role in both the design development and technical delivery, ensuring projects meet the highest standards of creativity, functionality, and compliance. You will also be expected to manage client relationships, coordinate with consultants and contractors, and oversee work on site. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and delivery of projects across leisure, hospitality, gaming, and sports sectors Produce high-quality drawings, models, and presentations using AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign, and Photoshop Oversee technical detailing and ensure compliance with building regulations and industry standards Manage project programmes, budgets, and resources effectively Conduct site inspections and coordinate with contractors to ensure smooth delivery Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative studio culture Candidate Profile 5-10 years post-qualification experience in architecture Strong portfolio demonstrating both design flair and technical competence Proven track record of on-site and project management experience Excellent communication skills and ability to manage client relationships Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign, and Photoshop A proactive, organised, and detail-oriented approach What's on Offer Competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 Hybrid working model (1-2 days in the office, remainder remote) Opportunity to work on landmark projects in leisure, hospitality, gaming, and sports Supportive, creative, and forward-thinking working environment Career progression opportunities within a respected practice To apply, please forward your up to date CV and portfolio through to Ashley Johnson at Conrad Consulting.
