We are working closely with specialist schools across Newcastle to seek a dedicated and enthusastic SEN Teaching Assistant. About the role Offer steady 1:1 support for a pupil with SEND and SEMH needs or working in a small group. Follow individual education plans Help create a calm, structured and inclusive learning environment.Support pupils in building social skills, confidence and emotional regulation. Respond to challenging behaviour using a nurturing approach.Work closely with the teachers, SENCO and outside professionals to support holistic development.
