KS1 Teacher Location: Derby Pay Rate: £150 – £230 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time“Spark Early Learning, Build Confidence, and Shape Tomorrow’s Achievers!”GSL Education are looking to appoint a motivated and caring KS1 Teacher to join a warm and forward-thinking school in Derby. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated classroom practitioner who can deliver engaging lessons, nurture young learners, and support them as they take key steps in their early education journey.In this role of KS1 Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver creative, well-structured lessons tailored to KS1 learners.Foster an encouraging, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to support development.Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic growth.Work collaboratively with colleagues and teaching assistants to share ideas and best practice.Contribute to the wider school ethos and maintain high standards of teaching and learning. What You’ll Bring as a KS1 Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 1.Excellent behaviour management, communication, and organisational skills.A warm, nurturing approach and a passion for helping young pupils thrive.Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
