Interventions Teaching Assistant required in Morecambe Full time Teaching Assistant role starting in January 2026 to the end of the academic yearExperience supporting with phonics in EY and KS1 is essentialKnowledge of small group and 1:1 intervention would be advantageousCompetitive pay depending on experience A busy primary school in the Morecambe (LA4) area is recruiting for a patient and experienced Teaching Assistant (TA) to deliver phonics interventions in small groups and on a one-to-one basis, supporting the development of each child. This role requires an experienced individual who can confidently and independently work with children to raise attainment across EY and KS1 by adapting learning materials to meet their specific needs.The school is seeking a compassionate and understanding individual to work across this larger-than-average primary setting. With over 30 languages spoken among pupils and parents, ideally this person will have experience in supporting children with EAL and other language barriers.
