Position: Computing Teacher (Part-Time, KS3 & KS4) Location: Southwark, London Contract: Fixed-Term (January - July) Working Pattern: Part-Time - 0.8 FTE (flexible timetable) Salary: London MPS/UPS Suitable for: ECTs or Experienced Teachers As a part-time Computing Teacher on supply for this Client, you will: Plan and deliver engaging and up-to-date Computing lessons at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Teach a range of topics including programming, computational thinking, digital literacy and ICT Adapt lessons to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities Contribute to the department's curriculum development and learning resources Build positive relationships with students, encouraging confidence and digital skills Person Specification & Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK-recognised qualification Ability to teach Computing at KS3 & KS4 confidently Strong behaviour and classroom management skills Effective planning, assessment and differentiation skills Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) Overseas police checks if required Professional references covering the last 10 years where possible Legal right to work in the UK This Client is a diverse, inclusive secondary school in Southwark with a supportive culture and high expectations for both staff and students.
