Fire Risk Assessor (Entry Level – Experienced L3 FRA Required)Location: North West England (ManWeb Region)Positions: 2 x Immediate StartsSalary: £30,000–£35,000 + Car or Car AllowanceEmployment: Full-Time, PermanentStart: ASAPAbout the Role:We are seeking two Fire Risk Assessors who already hold a Level 3 Fire Risk Assessment qualification and have some hands-on FRA experience. These roles sit within a major UK utilities framework, supporting compliance across low-risk operational sites.This position is ideal for candidates who have completed their FRA training, gained initial field experience, and are now ready to step into a structured role where they can “hit the ground running” but still receive ongoing support and development.Key Responsibilities:Conduct Fire Risk Assessments on low-risk commercial and industrial premisesApply PAS 79 methodology to identify hazards and evaluate riskProduce clear, structured FRA reports and prioritised action plansLiaise with site managers, duty holders and contractors to support complianceFollow internal QA and validation processesMaintain CPD in line with industry and organisational standardsTravel daily to multiple sites across the North West; occasional overnights may be requiredEssential Requirements:Level 3 Fire Risk Assessment qualification (QNUK L3 FRA, FSRAC L3, or equivalent)Some practical FRA experience (internal or external)Understanding of fire safety principles and building fire precautionsStrong written communication and report-writing skillsFull UK driving licenceAbility to travel across the North West dailyProactive mindset and ability to work independentlyDesirable (Not Essential):Experience with:Fire doors/fire stoppingActive & passive fire protection checksPAS 79 reportingMembership of IFSM / IFE / IFPOUtilities, industrial or compliance backgroundWhat We Offer£30,000–£35,000 depending on experienceCompany car or car allowanceFull support from Senior / Principal AssessorsClear development and progression opportunitiesTraining in utilities, fire safety and site induction requirementsStable long-term contractApplication Process:To apply, please submit your CV and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and qualifications for the role.
