Primary SEN Teacher – Tameside (January Start)Location: Tameside ✅Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience Contract: Full time ️Start Date: January 2026Are you an experienced and passionate teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to join a supportive school in Tameside from January. You will have a profound impact on the academic growth of children with additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, Sensory impairments and moderate learning difficulties. About the RoleAs a Primary SEN Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils with a range of SEN and adapt learning materials to meet individual needsDifferentiate the curriculum to meet individual learning needs and ensure progress for all pupils.Work closely with teaching assistants and the SENCO to implement personalised learning plans and interventions.Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic achievement.Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers.Liaise with multi-agencies and parents to ensure that the wellbeing and safety of students and help them thrive in all aspects. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Experience teaching pupils with SEN in a primary setting.Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies.A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
