As the Balance Sheet Accountant will be responsible for reviewing all balance sheet reconciliations/processes, investigate reconciling items, and ensure all balances are accurate, and fully supported. This position requires strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and attention to detail to ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Key Responsibilities -Review all balance sheet accounts in accordance with company policies and accounting standards. -Investigate and resolve reconciling items, discrepancies, and variances. -Maintain and document accurate account reconciliation schedules and supporting documentation. -Prepare journal entries and adjustments as necessary to maintain proper general ledger balances. -Review the current balance sheet reconciliation process and update it as necessary. Working hours - Monday - Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 3.45pm, 45 minutes lunch 2 days office / 1 x day remote For more information, contact Sarah at Major Aberdeen. INDFS
