Job Description Job Title: 2x AWS DevOps Engineers Location: Leeds 1x/week Day Rate: £500/day Inside IR35 Start Date: ASAP Duration: 7 Months Overview: We’re looking for a couple skilled AWS DevOps Engineers with a strong background in cloud-native infrastructure and a proven track record delivering within NHS or wider public sector environments. This role will play a critical part in managing scalable, secure platforms with a focus on automation, observability, and reliability. Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters, including Helm chart configuration and management. Build, automate, and maintain infrastructure on AWS using Terraform. Set up and manage observability and monitoring tools, particularly Grafana and Prometheus. Administer and support Linux-based systems, writing automation and scripting tools (e.g., Bash, Python) as needed. Drive DevOps culture and best practices across development and operations teams. Work closely with NHS stakeholders and technical teams to ensure secure and compliant infrastructure delivery. Essential Skills & Experience: Previous experience working within the NHS or a healthcare-focused public sector organisation. Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm. Advanced knowledge of AWS services and Terraform for IaC. Proven experience with observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus. Solid Linux administration and DevOps scripting skills. Enthusiasm for operations, automation, and infrastructure management. Nice to Have: Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI).
