No teaching experience needed, no subject knowledge required, no last-minute marking marathons. You simply guide classes through the work that’s already been set by the teacher. Nice and straightforward.What you’ll be doing Covering a teacher’s timetable for the day Supervising lessons across a mix of subjects Leading form time or registration Keeping the classroom calm, focused, and on track Being the steady, sensible adult in the room If you’ve ever organised a group of friends, wrangled younger siblings, or held your nerve during a group quiz, you’ve already got the foundations of what schools value most: great behaviour management.What you don’t need Teaching qualifications Subject expertise Prior school experience Seriously, none of that. Just bring confidence, a sense of humour, and the ability to keep teenagers focused when they'd rather talk about literally anything else.Travel You’ll be working at different secondary schools around Stroud, so being able to drive or reach schools easily by public transport is essential.Training?
