We are currently seeking an IT Support Engineer. You will provide technical support on a range of software and have the opportunity to expand your knowledge across various IT domains within our organisation. This role involves on-site attendance to deliver user IT support (2nd and 3rd Line), assisting users with day-to-day queries, and actively participating in IT projects.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the on-site first point of contact for IT hardware and software support.Manage firewall configurations and ensure their effective operation.Provide support for laptops, including Mac devices.Administer and manage user accounts and MS Office 365 profiles.Diagnose and resolve issues using systematic troubleshooting skills.Perform daily system checks to maintain optimal performance.Resolve complex problems and issues in a timely manner based on priorities.Create user guides and documentation.Assist both on-site and remote users with their IT needs (Driving Licence required) Monitor and maintain networks and hardware resources.Experience:Minimum of 3 years of IT support experience.Previous experience in supporting on-site hardware and software.Firewall management expertise.Familiarity with OneDrive, Egnyte, or similar platforms.Proficient in diagnosing and resolving IT issues using systematic troubleshooting techniques.Knowledge of Mac devices and support.Experience with user account management and MS Office 365 profiles.Ability to create user guides and documentation.Understanding of network monitoring and hardware resource maintenance.Benefits:On-site parking.Initial 21-day holiday + Birthday extra day off + Bank Holidays.Bonuses paid for self-study Microsoft training.Private Healthcare after 12 months.Company-branded clothing (polo shirts/zipped sweatshirts) provided.Hours:Full Time/Permanent. 09:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday (1 hour for lunch)
