Role: Data Analyst / Data EngineerLocation: London (Hybrid Working)Salary/Rate: £435 Per Day (Inside IR35)Start Date: 01/12/2025Job Type: 3 month contract Company Introduction: We are pleased to be supporting a leading financial services organisation as they strengthen their data ecosystem and progress a major compliance initiative. They are looking for an accomplished Data Analyst/Engineer to join their team and contribute to key regulatory and enterprise data programmes. Job Responsibilities/Objectives: Managing and optimising the enterprise data platform, leveraging Teradata for warehousing, analytics, and efficient risk data aggregation. Designing, building, and maintaining robust ETL pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter, ensuring scalability, performance, and high-quality data integration across platforms. Supporting risk modelling and analytics activities through SAS, Python, and related tools, and integrating risk metrics into automated reporting pipelines. Enabling regulatory compliance by developing and maintaining processes aligned with requirements, including data accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and governance controls. Producing and maintaining documentation for data lineage, governance standards, and risk data flows. Required Skills/Experience: Strong hands-on experience with Teradata and Informatica PowerCenter, including advanced ETL development and integration. Excellent SQL skills and a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture. Experience with risk modelling tools (SAS, Python) and familiarity with ETL frameworks. Understanding of data governance, lineage, and metadata management practices. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
