About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their technical career who is eager to learn. You will support the Raw Materials Manager and Senior Raw Materials Technologist, gaining hands-on experience in supplier management, compliance, and raw materials approval. The role is mainly office-based with some exposure to the factory and direct interaction with suppliers. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the approval and maintenance of raw material specifications.Help manage day-to-day communication with suppliers.Assist with weekly supplier meetings, KPI tracking, and document reviews.Contribute to resolving raw material issues, working with internal teams for solutions.Take part in supplier visits alongside senior team members.Support NPD projects with raw material samples and data gathering.Help the team with checks on inbound raw materials and compliance documentation.Build strong internal relationships as the go-to person for raw materials knowledge (with training provided). About YouWe're looking for someone who:Has some experience or exposure to food science, technical, QA, raw materials, or a related area (placement year or internship advantageous).Is keen to build expertise in raw materials and technical compliance.Is organised, inquisitive, and able to learn quickly.Communicates confidently and enjoys building relationships with suppliers and colleagues.Works well in a team and is comfortable asking questions and seeking guidance.
