Warehouse Supervisor Menzies Distribution Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Wakefield. This role will manage & support an effective operational process, which ensures accurate integrity of customer / suppliers stock and data input. Also ensuring that all operational processes and compliances are adhered to.This role will ensure that all legislative and regulatory requirements are upheld and the highest standards of health and safety are maintained at all times. The Details Salary: £31,695.30 Per AnnumShift Pattern: 4 On/4 Off DaysHours: 06:00 - 18:00Monthly PayParking Onsite Warehouse Supervisor duties: Establish, monitor and maintain agreed performance levels for all warehouse activityLiaise, support and develop effective working relationships with internal and external customersCoordinating the use of automated and computerised systems where necessaryStrong system control, ensuring adjustments are fully understood and reportedEnsure efficient flow of stock throughout the siteEnsuring efficient and effective delivery and implementation of all aspects of Clients operational requirementsMaintenance and management of WMSOrganising Training activities/schedulingHACCP awarenessBRC awarenessEffectively controlling goods in and goods outQuality ControlUnloading and loading of vehiclesMaintain a safe working environment which complies with aspects of the company H&S proceduresMonitor agreed performance levels for all warehouse/related activityPromoting an effective working environment building a diverse, well- balanced team.Ensure all environmental control measures are in place and are effectiveWork closely with the site, customer and supplier stock teams ensuring clarity and consistency in all we doStrong system control, ensuring adjustments are fully understood and reportedEnsure efficient flow of stock throughout the siteCommunicate effectively with all departments on site Warehouse Supervisor requirements: Good spoken and written communication skillsMHE – Reach / Counterbalance / PPT licenses requiredA professional mannerSupervisor / Man Management skills, and be able to lead and motivate a team.Good computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel) Benefits Time For You: Relax with 20 days of holiday.Give Back: Receive a paid day to volunteer for a charity of your choice.Appreciating You & Others: Celebrate special moments with Value Awards!
