Healthcare Assistant (HCA) - Days Location: Newcastle upon Tyne Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour Hours: Full‑time, 45‑hour contract Qualification: NVQ Level 2 ideally (consideration given to candidates with less experience if they have worked in nursing homes) About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Newcastle upon Tyne. This full‑time role involves working within Residential Care, Nursing Care, and Dementia Residential Care, supporting residents with dignity, respect, and person‑centred care. Responsibilities Provide day‑to‑day care and support to residents. Assist with personal care, meals, and daily living activities. Support residents with dementia and complex needs, promoting independence and wellbeing. Work collaboratively with nursing and care staff to deliver high standards of care. Maintain accurate care records and follow safeguarding procedures. Requirements NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care preferred. Candidates with less experience will be considered if they have worked in nursing homes. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Passion for delivering outstanding care.
