A lively and fast-paced secondary school in Hackney is looking for a Behaviour Intervention Guide to support its pastoral and behaviour teams. Hackney schools are known for their outstanding pastoral structures, and this role places you at the centre of that support.
Role Overview:
Working alongside the pastoral team to support students needing extra guidance * Running small-group programmes focused on emotional regulation and behaviour development * Providing in-lesson support to ensure calm, productive learning environments * Acting as a trusted mentor for students facing challenges
Ideal Backgrounds:
Youth work * Mentoring * Sports coaching * Behaviour support roles
This is a role where the right personality matters as much as previous experience-confidence, approachability, and consistency are key.
