Job Title: EYFS Reception Teaching Assistant Location: Tower Hamlets, London Salary Scale: up to £100 a day Start Date: ASAP Contract: Temp to Perm Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant who aspires to be a Teacher? GSL Education is currently looking for an experienced Reception Teaching Assistant for one of our client Primary schools in Tower Hamlets. The school is looking for someone who can start after straight away and has experience working with individuals and small groups of children.About the Teaching Assistant role: You will be working closely with the class teacher in Reception to motivate and encourage students to reach their full potential.Supporting children with special educational needsIndividual support should be provided to students in small groups to ensure learning is taking place Ideal Teaching Assistant will: Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant.Support pupils who have special educational needsHave basic understanding of childhood development and steps to support children of various agesBe helping pupils to increase their confidence and self-esteem by listening to them and devising appropriate strategies.Be able to work as part of a teamGood written and oral skills Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
