SEN Teaching Assistant – Newham Location: Newham Salary: £90 to £110 per day Contract: Full-time, Long-termDo you have a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? GSL Education is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a dynamic and nurturing school in Newham.Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and group support for students with SEN, including ASD and SEMH.Assist teachers in adapting lesson plans to support student needs.Create a nurturing and structured environment where students feel safe and supported.Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to implement tailored learning strategies.Encourage students’ academic, social, and emotional development. Requirements: Previous experience working in an SEN setting is desirable.Ability to build positive relationships with students.Knowledge of behaviour management strategies.Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
