SEN Teaching Assistant – Merton Location: Merton, London Pay Rate: £85 – £96 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Full-time / Long-termWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Merton. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and helping them achieve their full potential.Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN needs. Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons. Support positive behaviour, confidence, and emotional development. Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment. Adapt learning materials and activities based on individual student needs. Requirements: Experience working with SEN learners (school, youth work, care, or similar). Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
