Conveyancing Assistant – Ilkley Are you an enthusiastic and organised legal professional looking to grow your conveyancing career within a dynamic and forward-thinking law firm? We are currently seeking a Conveyancing Assistant or Paralegal to join a respected Residential Property department, supporting Fee Earners in delivering high-quality, client-focused legal services. Key Responsibilities Assist fee earners with residential conveyancing matters, ensuring an efficient and cost-effective service Undertake supervised fee-earning work, including: File creation and matter opening proceduresPreparation of client care correspondenceCompletion of client questionnairesRespond to routine client enquiries and maintain regular communication throughout the transactionManage matter start and completion data for compliance and reporting purposesDeputise for fee earners during absence, escalating urgent matters where appropriateAdhere to firm-wide quality procedures, progressing all client work in a timely and professional mannerMaintain confidentiality and security of client and firm data at all timesEnsure full compliance with Solicitors’ Accounts Rules and the SRA Code of ConductSupport the development and marketing of the department in line with the business strategy What We’re Looking For: Prior experience in a conveyancing support role (essential).Strong understanding of residential property processes.
