Our client, based in Dover, is currently recruiting for an ASB officer on a 3-month rolling temporary contract.This position will start in December. The hourly rate is £26 via an umbrella company. The ideal candidate will have experience working within councils or housing associations.Duties will include (but are not limited to): Dealing with complaints from residents about Community Safety, safeguarding and neighbourhood disputesTaking appropriate action including legal action, and attendance at court, in line with agreed policies and proceduresInterviewing victims, perpetrators and potential witnesses of Community SafetyReceiving casework referrals from designated referral agencies, including the Police and Housing Management, regarding serious Community Safety, nuisance and harassment Experience required: Experience of taking cases to court Experience within a housing related or similar organisation Skills, knowledge and expertise required: Have a good understanding of housing legislation The ability to build effective relationships and partnerships with stakeholdersAbility to work on own initiative Working hours: Mon – Thu9:00 – 16:15 Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.Don’t forget our recommendation scheme: Recommend a friend or colleague to us and receive up to £100 each once they have completed 20 days in a role via James Andrews!
