Service Engineer – Agricultural Equipment Sector: Engineering / Agriculture Location: Suffolk / Norfolk border (commutable from surrounding areas) Hours: Monday–Friday, days + regular overtime Type: Full-time, permanent Transport: Must be able to travel to the companies main site daily. Visa: This role does not offer sponsorship An established and well-run engineering business in the agricultural sector is looking for a Service Engineer to join their team. The company provides installation, maintenance and servicing of feeding and watering systems used across farms and agricultural sites in the region. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone practical, mechanically minded and happy working on different customer sites each day. The Role Install, service and repair agricultural equipment and systems Assist with equipment builds and preparation at the company yard Attend planned jobs and next-day breakdown call-outs Work with a small team of engineers to complete installations Load tools and materials before travelling to site each morning Maintain safe working practices at all times What We’re Looking For Hands-on mechanical, agricultural or engineering experience Comfortable working in farm environments Practical problem-solving skills and strong work ethic Able to interpret basic technical information and follow instructions Within a sensible daily commute of the company’s yard Full UK driving licence Full right to work in the UK Nice to Have Experience installing or servicing agricultural equipment Welding, fabrication or basic electrical knowledge Any relevant tickets (e.g., forklift, manual handling, IPAF) – training provided if not What’s on Offer Full training, tools, PPE and workwear provided Company van and fuel card (after initial period) Regular overtime with enhanced rates Additional project-related bonus opportunities Supportive, family-run environment Regular reviews and opportunities for ongoing development How to Apply: Send your CV to info@isqrecruitment.co.uk or call 01603 369 500 for more information.
