Technical Sales Manager – UK Wide Are you a commercially driven refrigeration expert looking for your next big opportunity? We’re seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to lead growth across the UK, driving new business, deepening customer relationships, and shaping the future of a fast-moving technical sales function. What You’ll Be Doing Growing market presence across established and emerging refrigeration sectors. Identifying and penetrating new market segments and niche opportunities. Building strong partnerships with key stakeholders and decision-makers. Delivering persuasive sales presentations and tailored proposals. Providing expert advice on refrigeration system selection, application and integration. Leading the specification of modular coldrooms and wider commercial refrigeration solutions. Tracking market trends, competitor activity and emerging technologies. Supporting internal teams with industry knowledge, standards and best practice. Managing social media activity across UK offices. Overseeing quotes, site surveys, client meetings and project requirements. Maintaining accurate CRM reporting and sales documentation. Territory UK-wide role with national travel. Flexibility to operate from home and regional hubs. Occasional overnight stays (weeknights only). What You’ll Bring HNC/HND (or higher) in Refrigeration. Proven success in technical sales with measurable results. 10+ years’ experience in refrigeration engineering or project management. Strong understanding of refrigeration systems, controls, alarms and relevant standards. Excellent relationship building, communication and organisational skills. Analytical mindset, attention to detail and a proactive, resilient approach.
