Role: Tech Lead Manager Location: We operate a hybrid schedule, meaning 2-3 days a week in the office based at Thorpe Park, Leeds. You will oversee and grow a team of developers, providing leadership and support through core line management responsibilities, including regular 1:1s and career development. Drive best practices in software development, ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability. Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives. Oversee development of core systems across web and mobile platforms, including front-end interfaces and integrations. Champion team culture and environment, ensuring decisions prioritise both team well-being and project success. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, QA) to deliver seamless customer experiences. Ensure alignment with technology stack, including .NET Core for microservices and backend systems, React, Next.js, and TypeScript for front-end interfaces, and integration with BigCommerce and StoryBlok CMS. Promote continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and adoption of modern tools and practices. Who are we looking for?Extensive commercial experience of developing React, Next.JS, TypeScript, GraphQL and developing new components.Have experience in a headless, eCommerce platform such as BigCommerce.Experience either leading a small team or mentoring Junior Developers as a senior.Experience working within an Agile environment.Experience working in software development as a senior developer or team leader.
