SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Ealing, Greater London, London Job Type: Contract, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £90 - £120 Per day Benefits: PAYE & CPDJob Duties: Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom. Assist teachers in delivering individualised education plans (IEPs). Help create a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Support students with personal care and emotional well-being. Collaborate with teachers and parents to monitor and support student progress. Required Qualifications: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths. Relevant SEN qualifications or practical experience. Level 2 or higher qualification in Teaching Assistance or Special Education. Experience: Prior experience working with children with SEN. Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of diverse learning styles and needs. Effective communication with students, teachers, and parents. Strong organisational and time management skills. Empathy, patience, and adaptability when supporting students with SEN. Preferred Qualifications: First Aid certification. Mental Health First Aid training. Working Conditions: Work hours may vary depending on the school schedule. Involves standing, walking, and actively assisting students throughout the day.
