We're currently supporting a well-established organisation within the care sector that is looking for a Talent & Onboarding Coordinator r to join their HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in employee relations who enjoys working in a role that makes a genuine impact on both employees and organisational culture.
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Coordinator to provide vital administrative and operational support to the Talent Acquisition & Onboarding function. This role is central to ensuring smooth recruitment processes, efficient onboarding, and a positive experience for candidates and new hires. You'll play a key part in keeping recruitment organised, compliant, and effective, supporting the broader team to maintain high levels of service.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Candidate Support
Assist in posting job adverts across job boards, social media, and internal channels.
Screen applications and maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Schedule interviews, coordinating with hiring managers and candidates for a seamless experience.
Respond promptly to candidate queries and provide general recruitment support.
Onboarding Administration
Support pre-employment screening, including references, DBS, and right-to-work checks.
Prepare and issue offer letters, contracts, and employment documentation accurately.
Maintain new hire records in HR systems and ensure smooth data transfer from ATS.
Assist with onboarding sessions, ensuring new hires have the materials and access they need.
Monitor onboarding progress and escalate any issues to the Talent Acquisition Advisor.
Data Management & Compliance
Support recruitment reporting, tracking metrics such as time-to-hire and candidate pipeline.
Ensure HR and recruitment systems are accurate and compliant with GDPR and internal policies.
Stakeholder & Team Support
Assist with recruitment marketing activities, including job fairs and social media campaigns.
Provide general administrative support to the Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Advisor and wider HR team.
Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in HR, recruitment support, or administrative roles, ideally within health or social care.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR systems (ATS experience preferred).
Proactive, team-oriented approach.
Working towards or holding a CIPD qualification or equivalent HR certification.
Personal Attributes
Exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication, and strong computer literacy.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while managing individual responsibilities.
